Hey folks,
So, just had a demo with MapLine, because I've been looking for a better solution regarding regional/geo participation for the Public Polling Project.
Interestingly, it exceeded what I wanted to do and am going to ask them for a quote.
What I'd like to do is give more than just the location for a particularly respondent. It would be great if we could upload a dataset and show specific information about these respondents, demographics and even answers to at least some if not all of the questions.
Highcharts via Highmaps was my first choice, but it lags badly when the dataset is larger. MapLine definitely has the performance needed to make it a viable choice.
This would definitely be a Locals only tool at first.
Folks, if you don't know what diners, you don't know.
We miss diners and this is Lancer's Diner in Warrington, and it's amazing!
After nearly two years of discipline on issues that cost them the 2024 election, Democrats unleash the CRAZY in Bucks County. Paul Martino, their chief target during what was supposed to be a "discussion", joined to discuss.

While attacking The New York Times/Siena Poll, a claim treats the leaned partisan composition of a likely-voter sample as evidence of bias against Republicans. In this episode, we test that inference against current party identification, independent leaners, vote preference, the broader political environment in the basic context of thermostat public opinion.

Lot of these interviews are pre-recorded. But here are the ones coming up.

Scott interviews Rich Baris about his new book and the broader political trends he’s uncovered through his work as a pollster. Baris shares some unique insights into the dramatic shifts happening on both the left and right—especially with younger Americans—that are going mostly unnoticed thanks to antiquated polling conventions.
Watching people attempt to "unskew" polls conducted by all walks of this industry—ranging from Nate Cohn at The New York Times to Spencer Kimball at Emerson College to Tim Malloy at Quinnipiac—all to deny Donald Trump's gains against Joe Biden with various voting blocs, is more than a little sad.
The slew of recent polls over two weeks—to include no less than four today alone—have simply confirmed prior findings published from other pollsters who have previously been "unskewed". That includes your's truly and our work at BIG DATA POLL, Mark Penn at Harvard University, Patrick Ruffini at Echelon Insights, and many others.
I'm temped to equate this with an Occam's razor-like situation. But this debate is more about likelihood than simplicity.
Here's the Presidential Vote Preference Trend for Biden v. Trump going back to August 2020. The Public Polling Project did not begin asking the Rematch Question for 2024 until September 2021. However, we can still make some pretty important and interesting observations.
