This first day back to school, we all got up early to enjoy the morning together and make sure everyone was prepared. My oldest is now a senior, my daughter is now a freshman in high school, and our youngest midlife crisis baby is now just 7 and in second grade.
Roman still LOVES taking the bus because he's still young and it's cool. But until my son finds a car, I decided to drive them while we dropped Laura and Roman at the bus stop.
Pulling into the drop off at high school, I told them that I loved them, to have a good day—and as usual, told them, "Remember, positive in, positive out!"—and watched them take a selfie together that Laura requested from them.
Right before walking away, I pulled my oldest son over and told him to "Watch out for your sister." He looked at me and said, "I know, Dad. Don't worry, I'll take care of her. I got this."
And BOOM!
I had a flashback to the hallway of the hospital in New Jersey where we went to get the sonogram at I believe 16 weeks when they can tell the sex of the baby. Eventually, he'd be born in that hospital.
But I remembered praying to God in that hallway as if I was there again in that moment, asking him to please give me a son first and a daughter after, for this exact reason. He could watch out for her when they grow older and are high school together, and ultimately, when I'm gone and all they will have left in this world are each other.
In Jersey, due to ridiculous lawsuits, they were not allowed to tell you the sex of the baby. But the tech knew we were eager to know, and drew an arrow on the screen pointing toward his "ya know" and wrote, "Boy!". So, technically she didn't "tell" us the sex, she wrote it on the screen.
I literally did a cartwheel in the hallway to celebrate. God answered my prayer, and in return, I knew in that moment that I had to break the cycle of addiction. Prescribed by a doctor or not, the kid deserved a normally functioning father who would be around for him when he grew up.
We moved to Florida shortly after his birth to do just that. But it's amazing how time flies. This year will be the last year we're all together. It's a year of firsts, and a year of lasts and I intend to make the most of it.
Just wanted to share that with you all. Puts life in perspective.
Here's my interview with Matt Gaetz on the coming New Majority and the Young Americans who want to Burn It Down!

On "What Are The Odds?" with Baris and Baris on Monday, @RobertBarnes detailed four determining factors that have been predictive in midterms outcomes for the U.S. Senate.
"So on paper, the Senate should not be up for grabs. And when two of these four factors that I'll identify are not present in the Senate election in the midterms, then in fact eighty percent of the time the incumbent party does not lose four or more seats, and is often as likely to gain seats as it is to lose seats—when the map looks like this and when two of these four factors are not present."

BIG DATA POLL has exclusive data from decades of trend-tracking and uncomfortable question-asking, and it all points to the same conclusion. Imminent systemic collapse is coming and we must choose: It's either MAGA or Mamdani!

Speaker Newt Gingrich: Burn It Down is "an important book for understanding this particular moment in history and particularly important for Republicans trying to understand the challenges they face."
Here's my conversation with Speaker Gingrich about why young Americans are frustrated by an economic system they believe makes it harder to get ahead—and critically, how Republicans will have to offer something more powerful than simple criticism to counter the rise of the DSA.
Because right now, young voters don't want to reform the system, they want to Burn It Down. https://www.gingrich360.net/p/young-americans-arent-moving-left
Fuck JD Vance and fuck his ball washers. Does anyone actually think he will do anything about the H1B plague and Indian invasion this country is seeing? He married a low caste Indian whose entire extended family probably relies on the cheap H1B foreign labor pipeline. A low caste Indian who refuses to convert to Christianity and still practices the satanic Hindu religion with false gods.
Fuck that coward. Also a supporter of the Iran War.
Watching people attempt to "unskew" polls conducted by all walks of this industry—ranging from Nate Cohn at The New York Times to Spencer Kimball at Emerson College to Tim Malloy at Quinnipiac—all to deny Donald Trump's gains against Joe Biden with various voting blocs, is more than a little sad.
The slew of recent polls over two weeks—to include no less than four today alone—have simply confirmed prior findings published from other pollsters who have previously been "unskewed". That includes your's truly and our work at BIG DATA POLL, Mark Penn at Harvard University, Patrick Ruffini at Echelon Insights, and many others.
I'm temped to equate this with an Occam's razor-like situation. But this debate is more about likelihood than simplicity.
Here's the Presidential Vote Preference Trend for Biden v. Trump going back to August 2020. The Public Polling Project did not begin asking the Rematch Question for 2024 until September 2021. However, we can still make some pretty important and interesting observations.
