What exactly is an “American?”
Just that. Can anyone tell me? I’ve heard it’s anyone who is a citizen, except that’s not true. I’ve heard it’s anyone who accepts a 20th century description of “American” values and beliefs and documents. Except that there were Americans before those beliefs and before those documents and by that standard anyone anywhere could accept those even in their foreign countries and be “American.” Additionally people with completely antithetical beliefs who reject those things and who weren’t born here are said to be as “American” as I and we are told there is no recourse or test for their removal based upon those things so that’s not true. It’s a strange creature these Americans for it’s also said that it’s anyone that is born here. Which cannot cohesively or coherently exist alongside aforementioned definitions of “American.” Could it be that the only coherent definition is that of ethnicity, tradition, heritage, and history? Could it be that civic nationalism and propositional nationhood are incoherent and ultimately self destructive of particular peoples and their nations? If none of those other definitions are correct the only coherent would that I mentioned would be categorized as a type of ethno-nationalism. Ahhh you see that we are told is forbidden and evil and “unAmerican” but we have already established that there is no coherent standard for what is and isn’t American since by the other standards you have no grounds to say that El Sayed isn’t American or that Maria Salazar isn’t American that Islam is unAmerican or advocating for the importation of lots of people who have never been here and have no historical connection from coming in unending numbers or waves outnumbering those who do have heritage and historical connections but whose foreignness and strangeness does not stop them from being Americans. Just as American as you. The whole world is actually American struggling to cross our borders. It seems based on any definition besides some kind of ethno-nationalist kind (in the Aristotelian Ethnos sense) that in fact there is no such thing as an “American.” By these other standards and definitions (or lack thereof) this country was founded by and for no one and everyone. “Americans” actually do not exist then.
You must ask yourself what exactly you have in common with all these strange different people you have no connection to and have such strong differences with? I suppose the answer would have to be political geography. I suppose an “American” is a human that has at any point entered or been within the boundaries of the political entity of the United States. Now please go die for this entity that you have no special connection or exclusive relationship to, and that owes you no special connection or loyalty over anyone else in the world. Just as the founders intended.
Nate Silver thinks he’s smarter than everybody. He goes in and says this poll is credible, these right-wing pollsters are fake and these left-wing pollsters are great.
He weighted Wedgewood, a FAKE firm, higher than the New York Times, higher than Quantus, higher than Mark Mitchell! This is why his model gets humiliated year after year.
We need a complete overhaul of this industry.
Folks, if you don't know what diners, you don't know.
We miss diners and this is Lancer's Diner in Warrington, and it's amazing!

I’ve been voting early in Arlington, VA for about 20 years. I’ve never had to wait more than a couple of minutes to vote early. I just had to wait over 20 minutes to vote early on a Thursday at 3:00 PM. This was the wait even with early voting having been available since late September! This congressional district (VA-08) votes about 85% Democrat as it’s basically an extension of The District of Corruption. At least in Virginia, the Democrats are going to win by perhaps a historic landslide. I concur with data analyst Christian Heiens. I’m sure the rest of the country is following similar trends. The people with blue Democrat sample ballots looked obnoxiously giddy.

Of course Dems plan to escalate destruction of our CONSTITUTION, our country, and punishment of non-Dem citizen Americans if take power! At this point, these recordings PROVE it!! I’m sorry but these recordings ARE a reminder voting for Dems & encouraging votes for them by constantly ranting against PresDT for VERY disappointing things he has or hasn’t done, IS STUPID! Good appearance Rich. @PeoplesPundit
Watching people attempt to "unskew" polls conducted by all walks of this industry—ranging from Nate Cohn at The New York Times to Spencer Kimball at Emerson College to Tim Malloy at Quinnipiac—all to deny Donald Trump's gains against Joe Biden with various voting blocs, is more than a little sad.
The slew of recent polls over two weeks—to include no less than four today alone—have simply confirmed prior findings published from other pollsters who have previously been "unskewed". That includes your's truly and our work at BIG DATA POLL, Mark Penn at Harvard University, Patrick Ruffini at Echelon Insights, and many others.
I'm temped to equate this with an Occam's razor-like situation. But this debate is more about likelihood than simplicity.
Here's the Presidential Vote Preference Trend for Biden v. Trump going back to August 2020. The Public Polling Project did not begin asking the Rematch Question for 2024 until September 2021. However, we can still make some pretty important and interesting observations.
