We are polling a lot this weekend, some private and a lot public.
Nationally, Trump ended tonight averaging 36% approval and 60% disapproval. Right direction fell into the 20s again and 60% said the country is headed off the wrong track. In the 35 states with races for U.S. Senate, Republicans are doing about four points worse than they are on the Generic Congressional Ballot.
I don't want to give the numbers yet until they are done and weighted, but it isn't looking great for Republicans.
Polling suggests there will be a lot of non-2024 voters in the midterm electorate and they heavily favor Democrats. Initially, I was suspect of these voters actually showing up. But we can see them clear as day in the early vote, which is when parties should and want to bank these voters, and it is favoring Democrats everywhere except for a few places in which TPUSA is chasing ballots, such as in Arizona.
However, even in that state, I'd caution you not to get too excited for Republicans' chances. Independents will vote heavily against them and their turnout edge simply isn't big enough. Most other states, it's looking very bad. In North Carolina, I spent a good deal of time talking to someone with intimate knowledge of a certain incumbent Congressman. They think they are going to lose and that district is supposed to be relatively safe.
Why? Because, basically, the party of low prop voters is losing the battle to turnout low prop voters. Democrats are kicking their asses. It's almost ridiculous to expect these voters to turnout on Election Day when you could not get them to vote in the weeks leading up to it early. In 2024, Republicans dominated among low propensity voters. This time, Democrats are the ones with voters left in the tank. Republicans need a HUGE turnout among high props to even hope to catch them, then the low props to overcome the lead they have built.
In the final national poll, we are asking detailed questions about vote method intention, i.e. early in person vs. mail vs. drop off vs. Election Day, etc. It is very clear that Democrats changed their voting behavior amid concerns about Trump's influence over the mail-in vote. Effectively, and hypocritically, Democrats now believe it is okay to accuse Republicans of the very thing they had just called them conspiracy theorists for alleging since 2020.
That all being said, it's telling us that Republicans will not enjoy big margins on Election Day, at least not the margins to which they've become accustomed. Somewhere in the neighborhood of R+12 to R+15 seems like a reasonable estimate to me before weighting.
Tomorrow is "What Are The Odds?" and Barnes and I will go over all this in as much detail and provide as much clarity as we can.
Thank you to whomever made that generous contribution to the polling project, and to everyone who did. I once again bit off more than I should have but oh well. Better to have a clearer picture than not especially if this is my last one like this. https://www.bigdatapoll.com/public-polling-project/
Nate Silver thinks he’s smarter than everybody. He goes in and says this poll is credible, these right-wing pollsters are fake and these left-wing pollsters are great.
He weighted Wedgewood, a FAKE firm, higher than the New York Times, higher than Quantus, higher than Mark Mitchell! This is why his model gets humiliated year after year.
We need a complete overhaul of this industry.
Folks, if you don't know what diners, you don't know.
We miss diners and this is Lancer's Diner in Warrington, and it's amazing!
After nearly two years of discipline on issues that cost them the 2024 election, Democrats unleash the CRAZY in Bucks County. Paul Martino, their chief target during what was supposed to be a "discussion", joined to discuss.

Hey guys,
I'm going to pin this here. I've gotten a lot of questions about 1) the hardcover not on other distributors and 2) audiobook.
1) Yes, the hardcover as of now is only available on Amazon.
2. The audiobook has been submitted. It's out of our hands and up to Audible now. It'll just pop up on Amazon when it is available and if I see it first, I'll let you know.
Also, do not forget to leave a review if you liked it. As you can see, there are certain "MAGA" mad at me and just attacking me personally in reviews.

Just as the title says! We will poll Florida after all!
This is why I spend minimal time on X, or at least out of the comments section lol
The amount of idiocy is crazy, someone even said some complete nonsense about “is there a reason we should believe this will be the first time you’re right about something?”
A: poorly structured statement/question.
B: utterly false premise.
Watching people attempt to "unskew" polls conducted by all walks of this industry—ranging from Nate Cohn at The New York Times to Spencer Kimball at Emerson College to Tim Malloy at Quinnipiac—all to deny Donald Trump's gains against Joe Biden with various voting blocs, is more than a little sad.
The slew of recent polls over two weeks—to include no less than four today alone—have simply confirmed prior findings published from other pollsters who have previously been "unskewed". That includes your's truly and our work at BIG DATA POLL, Mark Penn at Harvard University, Patrick Ruffini at Echelon Insights, and many others.
I'm temped to equate this with an Occam's razor-like situation. But this debate is more about likelihood than simplicity.
Here's the Presidential Vote Preference Trend for Biden v. Trump going back to August 2020. The Public Polling Project did not begin asking the Rematch Question for 2024 until September 2021. However, we can still make some pretty important and interesting observations.
